Sound familiar? I've been there, but I finally found my niche and turned it into a thriving business that fills my creative needs while also being a present mother. Now I'm on a mission to help others take their creativity, turn it into beautiful tangible products and successful businesses that work for their lifestyle.
With 17 years in the fashion industry working for brands like Hurley and O'Neill, teaching college courses, and running my own business, I love to share the lessons I've learned to help make your business a success.
I enjoy helping people take the next step in their business THROUGH:
Market Validation
Sourcing & Manufacturing Guidance
Tech Packing
Product Range Planning
Marketing Strategy
Diversifying Sales Streams
After two years of teaching, I decided it was time to quit to focus on Bodomint and have my third baby! I added some new bag designs. It was so nice to have a flexible schedule to be with my 3 kids and also have my creative outlet and business at home.
Now I spend my days wrangling 3 wild boys while also working out of my she-shed in the backyard. With my youngest in preschool, I had time to start The Product Sessions! I hope to help others get the knowledge and resources they need to make their product business dreams a reality!
After college, I landed a job at my dream company, La Jolla Group, which in 2007 was the parent company to O'Neill, ...Lost, Rusty, and Metal Mulisha. I worked my way up from being Receptionist to an Accessories Designer.
We had our first son in 2012 and I decided I needed to design a stylish diaper bag that both my husband and I would love wearing. I began sketching ideas.
After my second son was born, I quit Hurley to have a more flexible schedule and also started teaching Fashion Design and Illustration at Orange Coast College.
We moved back to California and I started working at Hurley doing product development and design for t-shirts. I was also working with my manufacturer to perfect my diaper bag design.
My bag was finally ready for production, so I launched it on Kickstarter. Some amazing supporters backed my project and I was able to have my products made! Later in 2015 our second son was born!
In late 2009, my husband and I got married and moved to the north shore of Oahu. He finished college and I did freelance work and worked at BYU-Hawaii.
